Job Purpose

The Sales Controller will drive the achievement of Sales Business Unit (SBU) results and strategic goals through recommendations, decision support, and influence in the country management team with a Total Enterprise mindset. The role scope considers full Profit and Loss (P&L) management, including Revenue, Cost, Sales Controlling, and Operating Expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Complete monthly financial performance assessments of SBU results at a country level, including analysis to drive value creation through revenue growth and profit growth in the portfolio and customer dimensions.
  • Participate as a member of the Latin America Business Finance Organization, fostering standardization, best practice sharing, and adoption, and providing an integral view of the business through the design, implementation, tracking, benchmarking, and ongoing review of business and process Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead capital investment requests relevant to the SBU, partnering with the manufacturing and supply chain teams to develop analysis driving the capital allocation process.
  • Facilitate communication of results, strategies, and priorities between the Latin America, Latin America North, Central Finance, and Country teams as relevant.
  • Perform as lead for the financial forecast of results for the SBU, working in partnership with the Latin America FP&A team within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
  • Perform as financial lead for relevant projects for the SBU/Country in the New Product Process.
  • Drive SKU Profitability by leading profit analysis in pricing decisions.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in profitability analysis (financial planning, budget, and business finance).
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Demonstrated strength in leadership, interpersonal communications, critical thinking.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve, identify key issues and root causes, and propose diverse alternative solutions.
