Operations Manager for Regulatory Compliance

Are you a motivated leader with experience in manufacturing and regulatory compliance? We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our team at Steris Canada Corporation.
**Job Summary:**
We offer a competitive salary of $95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing administrative and operative employees, including supervisors, team leaders, engineers, maintenance, quality, procurement, and planning teams. You will provide direction and collaborate with management and support staff outside of the value stream to conduct operations in a safe and productive capacity to meet the needs of our customers and business objectives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage talent development, providing growth, training, and development opportunities to employees.
- Maintain results through coaching, and counseling of staff and setting meaningful and measurable goals.
- Management of the department through performance management, recruitment, salary adjustments, work schedules, and employee relations.
- Coordinate with production planning to meet the production plans to meet customer requirements.
As an Operations Manager, you will also be responsible for ensuring compliance to regulations (ISO, FDA, Homeland Security, OSHA, EPA) and supporting new product introduction and projects with manufacturing input. You will lead, train, and follow up improvements in operation, participate in safety, quality, and lean manufacturing initiatives, and manage productivity levels, manpower, scrap, rework, costs, delivery, and projects for the department.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or General Required Experience 7-10 years working in a manufacturing environment, 5-7 years supervisory experience.
- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Master degree its a plus, 5 years Lean Operations experience strongly preferred, 5 years working in regulated environment within the drug and or medical device industry preferred, Direct profit and loss accountability experience preferred.
