**Job Overview**

Bd, a leading global medical technology company, is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join its team in MEX Nogales North - Luis Donaldo Colosio Blvd.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in procurement, production control, logistics, and/or inventory control. They will be responsible for ensuring the timely supply of raw materials, maintaining vendor information, and managing operational systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Place Purchase Orders (POs) with vendors on time and ensure confirmation and acceptable shipping dates.
  • Reduce Freight-In cost by effective vendor management.
  • Effectively manage raw material inventory and reduce Excess and Obsolete material.
  • Meet volume and mix metrics.
  • Actively participate in raw material cost savings initiatives.
  • Maintain Purchase Price Variances (PPV), Supplier Management Program, Materials Review Report (MRR), SAP past due open transactions, and vendor information records.

Requirements:

  • B.S., B.A. degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Bilingual.
  • APICS courses desirable.
