Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Health Economics Analyst to support the development of our Real-World Insights business in Mexico, focusing on Health Economics and Outcome Research/HTA areas. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality contributions to client solutions within the pharmaceutical industry, working on assignments ranging from basic analysis to complex problem-solving.

Responsibilities
  • Develop studies related to Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) business areas, including health economics modelling, market access strategy, and value proposition.
  • Collaborate with supervision, independently, or as part of a project team on defined tasks.
  • Participate in business development/internal initiatives, producing draft proposals based on clients' RFPs and supporting information, conducting internal training, and presenting materials to IQVIA colleagues.
  • Assist in project management/client liaison activities, attending client and external meetings, and presenting research/analyses.
  • Develop prospective or retrospective outcome research protocols, statistical analysis plans, and reports.
  • Conduct local data sourcing, literature searches, data collection and generation, and produce supporting materials for complex economic models.
  • Draft, review, submit, and present abstracts, posters, and manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals/conference proceedings based on outcome research or economic models.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required; degree may be in pharmacy, pharmaceutical-biological chemistry, economics, or a clinical discipline.
  • Master's degree in health outcomes research (epidemiology, pharmacy, public health, statistics, or any other related clinical discipline) is a plus.
  • Relevant work experience in health outcomes research and/or academic research experience (e.g., real-world evidence, claims data analysis, observational studies, patient survey data analysis).
  • Data analysis skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the Mexican healthcare system, including dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology and epidemiological measures.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of statistics.
  • Intermediate to advanced English level.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 and $90,000, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
