Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. in Punta de Mita, Nayarit, Mexico.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and monitoring washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps. You will be responsible for identifying stained or damaged items and determining their status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
• Add chemicals and clean lint traps
• Identify stained or damaged items and determine their status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard
• Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines
• Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in load
• Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load
• Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine
• Maintain accurate records of items laundered

Requirements

• Experience in laundry operations and machinery maintenance
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
• Good communication and teamwork skills
