We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst - Project Controlling to join our team at Schneider Electric Gruppe. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving financial transformation initiatives and providing valuable insights to the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the financial transition for project controlling in the South America region, ensuring standardized and simplified reporting, consolidation, and project analysis.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the region.
- Create project dashboards and provide business performance commentary to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the South America team to build relationships and drive financial transformation projects.
- Own the project accounting month-end close and forecasting reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Have ownership of P&L and Balance Sheet project controlling performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Over 4 years of experience in consulting, accounting, or financial planning and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling theory, principles, and practices.
- Excellent accounting skills, with project accounting proficiency a plus.
- Strong digital skills, with ease in managing multiple systems.
- Strong financial, accounting, and analytical skills, with proven business acumen.
- Moderate to advanced PC skills, with emphasis on MS Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint, HFM/Hyperion/Essbase, SAP, and SQL.
- Superior Excel skills, including charting and the ability to manipulate large volumes of data into meaningful managerial information.
- Ability to work with and influence others, not only within a direct reporting relationship.
- Detail-oriented, with experience managing projects.
- Effective communicator, with the ability to build partnerships across teams.
- Self-motivated, with a sense of prioritization, and able to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
