The estimated annual salary for this position is $42,000-$60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Fitness Instructor - Group Exercise Specialist to join our team at the Marriott Cancun An All-Inclusive Resort. As a key member of our recreational team, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy group fitness classes that cater to diverse age groups and fitness levels.

Responsibilities include:

• Instructing group fitness classes such as aerobics, spinning, and strength training
• Providing personalized exercise programs and fitness counseling to guests
• Cleaning and maintaining recreational areas, equipment, and supplies
• Assisting injured guests until emergency medical services arrive
• Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all guests

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A minimum of 1 year of related work experience
• CPR Certification and First Aid Certification
• Fitness Equipment Certification and Fitness Instruction Certification
• The ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
• The ability to move through narrow spaces and stairs
