Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our team in Guadalajara North Campus. As a key member of our Materials Management team, you will be responsible for working with customers and suppliers to develop and implement strategic materials plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing and pricing strategies for materials quotations.
  • Present materials value-add to customers or suppliers and influence them to use Flex preferred suppliers.
  • Interface with customers or suppliers in new project start-up for cost of ownership issues.
  • Develop and guide implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans.
  • Manage component cost/price on a local, regional and global basis.
  • Track materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required.
  • Define and implement pricing and costing strategies.
  • Coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management and Customers.
  • Control of purchasing price variance processes.
  • Develop and implement cost take down strategies.
  • Increase Vendor Managed Inventory, Reduced Guide-Time and Electronic Data Interface penetration.
  • Work closely with purchasing and materials teams.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced English.
  • Communication skills.
  • Data analysis skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • ERP system knowledge is a plus.
