About the Role

The IT Supervisor will be entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the daily operations of the IT department at our facilities. The role will encompass ensuring seamless functioning of systems, networks, and communications, providing robust technical support to users, and maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the IT department, ensuring seamless functioning of systems, networks, and communications.
  • Provide technical support to users, addressing their technical needs and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the integrity and efficiency of IT infrastructure, ensuring it meets the needs of the organization.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to helpdesk technicians, helping them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to source and implement new technologies and solutions.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within an IT department, with a focus on operations management and technical support.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with enterprise data networks, concepts, and technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, storage, Wi-Fi, and network cabling.
  • Knowledge and experience with a broad range of systems and technologies, including:
    • Microsoft OS and application stack (Exchange, SharePoint, RDS, IIS)
    • Networking & cybersecurity (SolarWinds, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco Endpoint Security)
    • MDM Applications (Workspace ONE, SOTI)
    • Cloud & virtualized environments (M365, Azure, VMware)
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate and easy-to-follow technical documentation.
  • Quick learner able to easily adapt to frequently changing environments and meet aggressive timelines.
