The Senior Sales Manager achieves objectives through effective management of professional teams and departments. This role integrates industry expertise and subject matter knowledge within a defined area, contributing to the operational standards that guide others. A comprehensive understanding of how various areas interconnect within the sub-function is essential, as well as the ability to coordinate and contribute to the overall goals of the function. Basic commercial awareness is required, along with developed communication and diplomacy skills to influence and guide colleagues and external clients effectively. The position holds accountability for the volume, quality, timeliness, and delivery of results within the area. Responsibilities may include planning, budgeting, and policy formulation in the area of expertise, alongside short-term resource planning. Full management responsibility of a team is expected, which encompasses duties such as performance evaluations, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and possibly budget approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and ensure precise execution of sales and client requests by the team. Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing client and account management processes. Maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) to monitor the end-to-end process and turnaround times of deliverables. Assist in client onboarding, ensuring a seamless process for account opening and documentation, while verifying and storing all required documents. Provide expert guidance in account opening, tax, and local market documentation to both internal staff and external clients. Collaborate with the Account Control team to ensure regulatory reviews of all clients are conducted. Partner with Credit Risk Officers to ensure all client review materials are adequately prepared and completed. Ensure that service engagements provide a satisfying experience for clients through timely and effective completion of service requests. Manage risk effectively and foster a knowledgeable environment regarding risk guidelines and controls. Collaborate with regional counterparts to establish a consistent framework for services offered globally, regionally, or by product. Lead process improvements through innovative and transformative projects. Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, with particular attention to the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. This includes driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, and applying sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in financial services with over 5 years of managerial or sales supervisory experience.

Education:

Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Master's degree.
