About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Managing Director to lead our Latin America business, driving strategic growth, financial performance, and operational efficiency. As a pivotal figure, you will be responsible for steering the commercial operations, ensuring financial health, and maintaining LS&Co brand integrity.

  • Oversee the overall commercial operations, strategic direction, and financial performance of our Latin America business.
  • Develop a strategic vision for large-scale business growth, aligning with organizational goals, and demonstrating a strong understanding of enterprise-level processes and challenges.
  • Stay ahead of fashion trends and foster a culture of innovation within the company.
  • Manage full P&L, KPIs, and understand key business drivers to ensure financial health and growth.
  • Build long-term vision and purpose, with the ability to understand and anticipate operational ramifications.
  • Leverage market consumer insights and manage product portfolios across various categories.
  • Collaborate and influence internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships.
  • Define and uphold the brand's identity, values, and positioning in the market.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 15 years of senior leadership experience in Commercial roles, at least 5 years specifically in Retail Apparel managing all channels (Wholesale, Retail, e.com) in multiple business models (Own and Operated, Franchise, Distributors, Store in Store).
  • Experience in at least three major Latam markets including at least Mexico, Brazil, and Chile preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in owning the financials and effectively managing revenue streams and costs to achieve desired financial results.
  • Proven track record in defining and articulating strategic business plans and successfully executing them to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Extensive experience in leading businesses and teams on a regional scale, navigating the complexities of driving a unified playbook across diverse markets in a matrix organization and global headquarters.
  • Strong background in leading service delivery and managing relationships to drive sales success across multiple channels, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • In-depth experience in leveraging insights from digital channels and data platforms to inform strategic decision-making, enhance customer experience, and drive revenue growth.
  • A successful track record working for a brand with a strong heritage and a loyal consumer base.
  • Proven ability to execute strategy with efficiency and effectiveness, implementing improved measurement, processes, systems, and planning at scale to drive operational excellence.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese an asset.
