Citi is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loan Documentation Analyst to join our team. As a Loan Documentation Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation, while providing exceptional support to our loan operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Loan Documentation Management: Prepare and review loan documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collateral Management: Manage collateral, including booking cash transactions and making payments, input of general ledger entries, and complex calculations.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve problems related to loan documentation and processing activities, making recommendations to management to support process improvement.
- Reporting and Analysis: Design and analyze moderately complex loan documentation reports for management requirements, support/control activities, and the launch of products/services.
- Communication and Collaboration: Interact with external customers to disseminate or explain information, and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to exchange complex/sensitive information.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in loan operations or a related field.
- Knowledge: Elementary level knowledge of business processes, systems, and tools used in the loan process, as well as a basic awareness of managing, preparing, and reviewing loan documentation.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues.
- Bachelor's/University Degree: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
