Job Summary

As a Materials Planning Analyst II at Te Connectivity, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production cycle. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials, as well as determining quantity and order dates to meet production or engineering schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze planned sales order requirements suggested by MRP
  • Release finished product for shipment
  • Creation and release of production orders
  • Communication with Customer Service to establish agreements and coordinate on-time delivery
  • Monitoring of production plan compliance
  • Changes in planning by executing exception messages in SAP system
  • Review of material availability in the short term
  • Monitoring of results in level meetings
  • Planning and management of inventory levels of parts manufactured in the plant
  • Teamwork with different departments related to the supply chain
  • Be the focal point for priority setting with warehousing, manufacturing, and production
  • Maintain optimal inventory stock for the production plan
  • Confirm scheduled material pickups
  • Demand and capacity analysis
  • Review and complete assignments in RTS (Request Tracking system)
  • Creation of purchase orders based on exception messages in SAP system
  • Review of short reports
  • Communication with suppliers to establish agreements and coordinate on-time delivery
Requirements
  • Industrial Engineer, Business Management Engineer, or Bachelor of Commerce degree
  • 3 years of experience in the position
  • Intermediate English
  • SAP
  • Microsoft Office (good level of Excel)
  • VSM
  • Problem-solving tools (5 why's/root cause, 8D's, Ishikawa, etc.)
