Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of IT engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify their IT needs and provide tailored technical solutions.
- Assess emerging technologies and trends, recommending their adoption to enhance our IT capabilities.
- Establish and uphold IT engineering standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Monitor IT system performance, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions to optimize functionality.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT engineering services, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, representing the IT engineering team to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT engineering, with a focus on system design and infrastructure management.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, demonstrating the ability to build and nurture high-performing teams.
- Strong technical knowledge in networking, cloud computing, virtualization, cybersecurity, and database management.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset to drive innovation.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP) are advantageous.
