Electronics Control Board Design and Release Engineer

We are seeking an Electronics Control Board Design and Release Engineer to join our team at SEGULA Technologies in Mexico. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Develop cost-effective and reliable control boards using cutting-edge technologies, simulation tools, and test and evaluation equipment.
- Work with technical subject matter experts to develop source packages, conduct supplier technical review meetings, and provide engineering assessments of each supplier's proposal.
- Develop power electronic controller DVP&R and all required verification testing to ensure achievement of all functional objectives and assure compliance to program goals.
- Procure components for various internal development teams and execute change notices for all design changes.
- Interface with the extended development team to integrate the control board within the PIM and Electronic Drive Module (EDM).
- Support creating component specifications from vehicle, system, and software requirements, including requirements for durability, warranty, safety, and performance at the component level.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or equivalent Engineering Degree.
- 3+ years of experience in electronics design and development, or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret circuit schematics, worst-case analysis, and layout drawings.
- Knowledgeable in development of DFMEA, DVP&R, and validation plans.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, highly motivated, and self-starter.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and interface professionally with key customers, cross-functional teams, and all levels of personnel/management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills.
- Able to manage multiple responsibilities, one's own time, while being mindful of deadlines.
- Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, or equivalent Engineering Degree.
- 5+ years of DRE experience, preferably in Power Electronics.
- Knowledge of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and fabrication.
- Awareness of Power Electronics, Simulation Tools, and Motor Control Software Methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with design, release, and manufacturing of critical Inverter Systems for Automotive applications.
