Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Scheduler to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing consistent and translatable standard methodologies for Materials Management, Master Planner/Scheduler, and Materials Resource Planner functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement standard methodologies for Materials Management, Master Planner/Scheduler, and Materials Resource Planner functions.
  • Engage with key planning leadership and materials teams to train on best practices and ensure compliance with standard processes.
  • Provide leadership and spearhead data migrations across ERPs during product line transitions and factory moves/consolidations or acquisitions.
  • Manage the planning aspects of product migrations from new product/design phase to full release.
  • Drive inventory management through hard-working forecasting as part of the regional Americas SIOP process.
  • Support development and implementation of improved tools and systems to assist in predictive analytics.
  • Travel to Americas factories within the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, with potential for increased travel during product or site transitions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, or similar.
  • Planning experience.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Fluent English.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation ability.
  • Ability to lead and work within teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Conversational or better Spanish.
  • Specific ERP experience in Oracle, SAP, and Baan.
