Unilever Brazil is a leading consumer goods company committed to creating a better business and a better world. We are looking for a skilled Contract Negotiation Specialist to join our team in Bosques, CDMX.

Job Purpose: The successful candidate will lead the negotiation of terms and conditions with third-party suppliers, ensuring that Unilever's interests are protected while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate contracts with third-party suppliers, utilizing both influencing skills and contractual expertise to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Develop and implement effective governance schedules and processes for key suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and devise plans to implement changes, enhancing overall contract management efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Global Legal team to provide ad-hoc support and guidance on contractual matters.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date internal contract document templates, ensuring seamless contract execution and management.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in contract drafting, reviewing, or negotiating roles.
  • Strong English language drafting and legal advisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with colleagues across multiple time zones and countries.
  • Achieving outcomes and results by influencing resource utilization.
  • Understanding of procurement and legal aspects of supplier relationships.
  • Experience within a consumer goods or retail environment is preferred.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

The ideal candidate will possess a professional qualification in Law and have relevant experience in contract negotiation, with a strong understanding of legal and procurement principles. They should also be proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation Package:

We offer an attractive compensation package, including a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as additional benefits such as comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
