About the Role:

As a Staff Engineer Maintenance, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving molding machinery and other equipment in our area. This involves applying engineering principles to enhance equipment performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Providing technical support for complex equipment malfunctions and issues
  • Designing and optimizing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Designing and overseeing the installation of upgrades and modifications to enhance equipment performance and efficiency
  • Enhancing molding processes and workflows to boost production efficiency and minimize downtime
  • Investigating recurring equipment failures to identify issues and implement solutions
  • Working closely with maintenance teams, production, process, and other departments to ensure smooth integration of engineering solutions
  • Designing and implementing safety improvements to reduce the risk of accidents and ensure a safe working environment
  • Developing and delivering training programs for maintenance staff on new equipment, technologies, and best practices
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and preparing information about equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement
  • Managing, executing, and documenting engineering projects related to equipment installation, upgrades, or modifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic, Mechatronic engineering, or a related field
  • English proficiency (60-80%)
  • Technical skills:
    • Molding Processes: Understanding of injection molding, and extrusion or similar processes
    • Automation Technologies: Familiarity with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and robotics
    • Maintenance Management: Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies
  • Soft skills:
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to fix and resolve mechanical and automation issues
    • Communication: Effective communication with team members and stakeholders
    • Project Management: Skills to manage maintenance projects and improvements efficiently
  • Experience:
    • Hands-On Experience: Practical experience in maintenance roles, in a similar position, minimum 5 years
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Stay updated on the latest technologies and methodologies in maintenance related to presses small to high tonnage, automation equipment, and the latest technologies in the industry
