We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Agent II. In this role, you will be responsible for the movement of packages and documentation within our facilities and/or customs/forwarders.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain customs documentation well organized and properly filed.
- Distribute relevant customs paperwork to appropriate FedEx departments, customs raters, and forwarders as required.
- Receive customs releases and maintain adequate control as specified by customs regulations.
- Perform sorting, baggage support at airport and station, and retrieve air freight from carriers as required.
- Pull copy of AWBS of overages to ensure adjustments.
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Good English skills.
- Two (2) years of previous experience in international freight/cargo customs policies, procedures, rules, and laws preferred.
- Knowledge of airport and customs clearance procedures preferred.
- Forklift handling experience.
- CRT experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs. and to maneuver any single package weighing up to 150 lbs. with appropriate equipment.
- Verifiable ability to capture data in different systems such as Office, Advanced Excel, and WMS/JDA/eGLS (25/35 WPM), data entry, and/or general office skills.
- Personable and good written and verbal communication skills.
- Driver's license.
