Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare period-end closing financial reporting activities in US GAAP and Local GAAP ledgers for Mexico entities, ensuring timely completion and submission.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end reporting activities, including analytical review and variance analysis.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for statutory accounts to facilitate external audit and reviews.
  • Collaborate with the GL Accounting Lead and Business colleagues to resolve issues and communicate changes.
  • Review and discuss KPIs with the GL Accounting Lead, preparing dashboards to ensure Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Intercompany balances, and other schedules are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical background with strategic thinking capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of accounting, treasury, internal controls, financial systems, and processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, both verbally and in writing.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, consistently meeting deadlines on multiple projects and activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Local and US GAAP reporting roles.
  • Experience in the Insurance Industry is considered a plus.

Education:

  • University Degree with Accounting major or equivalent.
