Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly talented and experienced Engineering Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering organization, you will be responsible for planning and executing engineering programs to ensure their effective and successful execution. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of engineering programs.
- Collaborate with Engineering technical leads, Subject Matter Experts, and Sales teams to establish program charters and plans.
- Communicate key development updates, risks, and timelines to stakeholders, including the Executive team.
- Ensure program activities operate within company policies and procedures, and drive improvements as needed.
- Generate and deliver program status reports to stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage program budgets, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities associated with program activities, and coordinate appropriate actions to control them.
- Lead program review meetings, gate reviews, and regular reviews with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Master's Degree preferred.
- Up to 2 years of experience and/or applicable training in Project Management.
- Technical background and experience in hardware and/or software design.
- Strong project management skills, including schedule, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Good understanding of project financials, business cases, and contracts.
- Strong people skills and ability to build rapport with team members and stakeholders.
