Agricultural Manager

At Seligo Tech, we are assisting one of our clients in finding their next Farming Manager in Veracruz, Mexico.

The company remains confidential, but we will disclose the company name as we progress.

The Farming Manager is responsible for the management of 1,700 acres of lemon orchards.

The role involves planning, coordinating, and directing operations, as well as actively participating in the creation of fertilization programs, weed control, and pruning.

The manager is responsible for the execution and timing of all technical programs, as well as the implementation of new programs.

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Vegetable Sciences, or Horticulture.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years in managing large-scale farms.
• Knowledge of computer systems (Excel is essential).
• Ability to execute analysis reports, statistical trends, and projections.
• Knowledge of Good Agricultural Practices or Farm Certification (GFSI GAP) programs (preferable).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) (preferable).
• Experience in citrus or perennial crops (preferable).
• Successful experience in implementing pest control programs in the field.
• Proven knowledge in irrigation systems and programming.
• Proven knowledge in fertilization programs and solid experience in using agrochemicals.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and experience with agricultural tools.

Salary to be agreed upon based on experience, up to 1,000,000 Mexican pesos per month.

100% on-site work in Veracruz.

Indefinite-term contract directly with the company.
