The Role
We are in search of a virtual PMO Program Manager to join the Solera Global Project Management Office (PMO), focusing on Finance-oriented projects. The primary responsibilities will include facilitating the financial management of projects during the PMO intake phase and throughout the software development and IT project lifecycle, assisting with financial audits, and integrating new Solera acquisitions into our financial management framework. The software development initiatives will encompass all facets of the software development lifecycle within an agile environment, potentially involving multiple teams, geographical locations, and products. In this capacity, the PMO Program Manager will be tasked with adhering to and enhancing the financial management process, collaborating across business units with internal PMO sub-teams, Product & Development teams, various Finance teams, Operations teams, and others. The PMO Program Manager will ensure timely and accurate project status reporting and will employ established project management methodologies and tools to enhance project visibility, transparency, and effective communication with stakeholders. Strong analytical capabilities are essential, including critical thinking, data analysis, and the ability to address complex challenges by uniting the right individuals with appropriate resources and discussion points to collaboratively resolve intricate issues. This role requires a professional with extensive hands-on experience in managing projects that involve diverse business requirements, technologies, stakeholders, and varying levels of complexity.

What You'll Do

- Oversee the financial management process for Technology projects and facilitate the integration of new Solera acquisitions into this framework.

- Implement standardized processes, tools, and best practices to ensure consistent and reliable project delivery.

- Collaborate within a PMO team focused on competency, consistency, precision, and successful project delivery on a global scale.

- Communicate comprehensively and accurately about project statuses and escalate issues to leadership as necessary.

- Serve as a key resource for issue resolution and problem-solving related to projects, minimizing escalations to senior leadership.

- Work with PMO team members and leadership to develop new processes, refine existing ones, and establish best practices in project management across Solera.

- Act as a point of escalation for stakeholders regarding project-related matters.

What You'll Bring

- A Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a relevant field.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project, program, and project portfolio management, particularly in software and information technology, with a focus on project financial management.

- At least 5 years of experience in an agile development setting.

- Over 5 years of experience with industry-standard tools related to project management and agile development.

- A minimum of 3 years in a role with analytical responsibilities, such as business or data analysis.

- PMP Certification is preferred; certification in agile methodologies is a plus.
