Key Responsibilities- Design and Build DataStage Solutions: Develop and implement efficient and scalable DataStage solutions to meet business requirements.
- Update Data Repositories: Update data within repositories, data marts, and data warehouses to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Troubleshoot ETL Issues: Troubleshoot problems in ETL system designs and processes to ensure smooth data flow.
- Provide DataStage Administration: Provide DataStage tool administration functions, including user maintenance, tool version control compatibility management, and working with various technology vendors.
- Batch Support and Monitoring: Provide L1 and L2 batch support in a shift model for multiple test environments, execute, monitor, and manage batch cycles in multiple environments.
- Technical Liaison: Act as a technical liaison between developers, Quality Analysts, Business team, and other Infrastructure/Technology partners to help coordinate resolving issues.
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and work with application owners for L3 support.
- 5+ Years of Experience: 5 or more years of experience in batch support role.
- Technical Skills: 3 or more years of experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL in RDMS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, job scheduling tools CA7 and Autosys, batch configuration, and version control tools like Endeavor or any other similar tool.
- ETL Experience: 2 or more years of experience in ETL processes using IBM Info Sphere DataStage or similar ETL tools.
- Defect Management: Hands-on experience on ALM or any defect management tool.
- Cloud and DevOps: Knowledge of Cloud services, DevOps, CI/CD tools, and experience in Splunk and Service now/Incident management tool.
- IBM DataStage Certification: IBM DataStage certification or similar type of qualification.
- Agile Methodology: Working knowledge in JIRA and Agile methodology.
- US Retirement Products: Basic understanding of US Retirement Products/Insurances.
- Production Support: Experience in production/Test support environment.
- Scripting: Experience developing and modifying scripts such as (shell/python) in a Linux or Unix environment.
