We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Vice-President Operational Resilience Risk. This role is responsible for ensuring that all businesses, functions, and entities within Global Corporate and Commercial Banking and Markets and Securities Services units establish and adhere to standards for the management of operational risk as set out in the Group's framework for Enterprise Risk and Operational Risk Management.
Main Responsibilities- Provide independent non-financial risk oversight over core businesses with a focus on operational and resilience risks.
- Lead and drive independent thematic reviews, challenging areas worthy of further evaluation.
- Attend business non-financial risk and control governance forums, providing Operational Risk oversight and robust Risk Steward challenge of the First Line of Defense view of the resilience risk profile.
- Extensive experience working in the Corporate and Investment Banking division of a major financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of key institutional banking business activities and association operations.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with gravitas and strong leadership traits.
- Good knowledge of Risk Management frameworks, with a focus on Non-Financial Risk Management.
- Consistently works on enhancing and upgrading skills, leveraging internal and external sources.
- Positive, upbeat attitude and work ethic, with ability to work well in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and demonstrates an innovative approach to building new and advanced MI and reporting analytics.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent at minimum; graduate degree a plus.
