Strategic Fundraising Manager

Role Summary
The Rainforest Alliance seeks a seasoned professional to lead fundraising efforts in Mesoamerica, with a focus on institutional donors and strategic partnerships. This role requires a strong understanding of the region's fundraising landscape and the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to secure funding for the organization's priorities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain a portfolio of key institutional donors and strategic partners in Mesoamerica, with a focus on securing funding for the organization's priorities.
2. Conduct research and analysis to identify new funding opportunities and trends in the region, and develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
3. Collaborate with the global Institutional Relations team and regional teams to develop and implement a regional fundraising strategy that aligns with the organization's global priorities.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and colleagues, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
5. Provide strategic guidance and support to program staff on fundraising and partnership development, and ensure that all fundraising efforts are aligned with the organization's global priorities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in fundraising, specifically in institutional relations and strategic partnerships.
• Proven track record of success in securing funding from institutional donors and developing strategic partnerships.
• Strong understanding of the fundraising landscape in Mesoamerica and the ability to develop effective strategies to capitalize on opportunities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and accountability.
