KION Group is seeking an experienced SAP Integration Engineer to join our Global Integration Service Team.
This is a unique opportunity to work on the complete lifecycle of integrations, from requirements gathering to go-live support.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business partners to understand integration requirements and translate them into effective solution designs.
- Make informed decisions on integration platform choices based on industry standards and SAP Integration Suite capabilities.
- Design and develop interfaces using SAP Cloud Integration, SAP Process Orchestration, and SAP API Management to integrate cloud solutions and external partners with KION's core systems.
- Document integrations, define development guidelines, and ensure security requirements are met.
- Operate integrations, including monitoring, alerting, and continuous testing activities.
- Manage go-lives, releases, and transports, as well as knowledge transfers.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in building integrations using SAP Cloud Integration and SAP Process Orchestration, preferably with certification.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP API Management, and SAP Trading Partner Management or other EDI solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot SAP CI/PO issues and improve system performance.
- Knowledge of security standards, including SSL, PGP, encryption, SAML, and OAuth.
- Experience working with global teams.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to discuss requirements with clients and estimate effort required to deliver.
- Ability to advise on risks associated with work packages and conduct technical meetings with clients.
- Knowledge of implementation project life cycles, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, and go-live support.
- Experience with large-scale ERP implementations.
- Proficient in project management tools, such as JIRA, and able to prepare and present status reports.
- Strong communication skills in English (C1/C2 level).
- Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% internationally.
