The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of warehouse activities, including receiving, pulling, labeling, shipping, location management, and inventory management. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate with upper management to ensure accurate status reports on all warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise a large team of warehouse personnel and manage the recruitment and evaluation of staff performance.
- Work with internal departments, including Customer Service, Logistics, Production, QC, and Inventory Control, to ensure all required processes are completed correctly and updated in a timely manner.
- Oversee the processing of pick tickets and ensure that all orders are updated in the system and inventory is relieved accurately and promptly.
- Supervise the accuracy of all shipping/receiving documents and manage the warehouse inventory location system.
- Communicate with Logistics, EDI, and Production regarding pickup and deliveries with multiple vendors, business partners, customers, and manufacturers.
- Conduct cycle counts as needed and reconcile cycle counts in WMS and communicate findings to Inventory Control.
- Plan future capacity requirements, including labor hours and space.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Assistant Warehouse Manager in a wholesale company is required.
- Strong understanding of inventory control systems and proper processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing circumstances in the work environment.
- Self-motivated with a successful track record of team leadership.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate and control a large team.
- Experience with ERP and WMS systems is required.
- Experience with EDI is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
- Company parking.
