Job Summary:

Unisys is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineering Leader to lead our cloud migration and infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, architecture, and implementation, with a focus on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical decision-making process for cloud migration and infrastructure projects
  • Design and implement cloud architecture and solutions on AWS
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code templates using tools like CloudFormation and Terraform
  • Ensure security, compliance, and best practices are followed for all AWS resources and services
  • Monitor performance and usage of AWS resources and services and optimize as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or other similar tools
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain CloudFormation templates for AWS infrastructure and services
  • Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, features, CloudFormation, Ansible, and CI/CD best practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automation of AWS components like compute, storage, networking, database, and identity & access management (IAM), event processing, messaging, data processing, and analytics
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools such as Python, PowerShell, and Terraform
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience of Linux/Windows Administration
  • Knowledge of web servers and load balancers such as Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, HAProxy
