About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Agronomy Business Development Specialist to join our team at Tessenderlo Group in Guatemala. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting sales activities and driving business development initiatives for TKI fertilizers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Support: Align with the line manager on sales and development strategies, refine and implement them. Utilize market knowledge and competitors' analysis to identify unique selling propositions and differentiators to acquire new customers.
  2. Agronomical Support: Lead technical activities in line with the sales strategy. Develop, maintain, and update a network of technical contacts to promote product benefits and develop sales.
  3. Field Trials: Manage a program of products field trials in the region to showcase the value proposition of the product portfolio.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of business development experience or clear affinity to commercial functions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of agricultural practices and main crops in the area.
  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of market and products.
