This position is responsible for providing key insights into financial performance, highlighting areas of improvement, and collaborating with management on corrective actions and improvement plans. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Corporate Finance team to ensure management information requirements are adequately met.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and timely financial records, including US leading ledger, fixed assets control, and financial accounting.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, explaining variances over budget and forecast to local management teams and corporate.
- Support the Controller in preparing annual budgets and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and corporate policies.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop and track key metrics and internal reporting.
- Provide ad-hoc trends and standard cost analysis to support business decisions.
- Support the Product Operations Finance team in developing and maintaining cost standards.
- Monitor and analyze key metrics to track accuracy of MX Prod Ops and provide insights into finance-related activities.
- Responsible for accurate and timely month-end close process for inventory, manufacturing expenses, and variances.
- Review and audit BOMs, Routings, labor, and overhead rates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system and process improvements, and perform testing to validate system design.
- Drive process improvements and operational automation in existing system infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Cost Manager or FP&A Manager, with strong standard costing background.
- 7+ years combined experience in a manufacturing accounting environment and financial planning and reporting analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, SAP experience, and Hyperion Planning are preferred.
- Good presentation and communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically and influence business decisions using fact-based financial information.
