SSEGULA Technologies is at the forefront of innovation in the automotive industry. We're seeking a skilled Dimensional Engineer to lead dimensional improvements on vehicle geometry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex parts and sub-assemblies using various measurement systems.

Using data analysis skills, they will identify top issues and potential root causes, and work closely with production personnel and plant quality engineers to implement and validate proposed solutions.

The Dimensional Engineer will also proactively monitor trend charts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive variation reduction of critical product and process characteristics.

Additionally, they will interact with suppliers, both internal and external, to communicate issues and drive resolution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of basic statistics and process control
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of GD&T and use of gauges and fixtures
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency in NX/Team Center

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Familiarity with metrology equipment for root cause diagnostics
  • Experience in using statistical analysis applications
  • Good data analysis skills (e.g., Minitab or equivalent statistical package)
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical concepts
