Selective Soldering Engineer Specialist_LTX

Bosch Group is seeking a highly skilled Selective Soldering Engineer Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our electronics manufacturing team, you will be responsible for supporting new product introductions, equipment and process definition, acquisition, validation, and installation on production environment.

• Develop and implement instructions and internal procedures to ensure compliance of changes and modifications required by corporate entities.
• Support by quality and customer audits, and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Design, validate, and implement fixtures and tools to support production processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and participate in Lean Manufacturing 5S activities and projects.
• Identify and eliminate non-value added activities, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand changes and new requirements, and communicate them to the manufacturing team.
• Develop and implement training programs for engineers and technicians to improve process knowledge and skills.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, and initiate corrective actions as necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics.
• 2+ years of experience in selective soldering, preferably with certification in soldering.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
• Knowledge of electronic components identification, and deep understanding of flux, preheat, and material influences in the selective soldering process.
• Experience with Solder Machines: ERSA and Inertec, and knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in surface mount technology, and deep knowledge in MSA and SPC (Minitab, Solara or similar).
