Key Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to drive functional excellence and continuous improvement, leading multiple projects to enhance our ability to meet customer expectations while optimizing asset management and logistics.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to establish performance goals and long-term operational strategies, managing the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the facility.
- Process Improvement: Analyze operational processes, recommend improvements, and implement Lean Manufacturing principles to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Team Leadership: Cultivate relationships with department leaders, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
- Business Growth: Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that maximize output and minimize costs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product development teams to support new product development and drive seamless product launches.
- Compliance: Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of planning and managing operational processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Skills: Extensive knowledge of operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management. Lean experience a must – familiarity with Danaher Business System or TPS.
- Authorization: Legal authorization to work in Mexico.
