Responsibilities

  • Organize and update the company's tax database
  • Prepare tax payments and estimate and track tax returns
  • Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
  • Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
  • Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
  • Share financial data with the accounting department to ensure compliance with tax requirements
  • Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits within tax regulations
  • Follow industry trends and track changes
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance
  • Forecast tax predictions to senior managers to inform business decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting or related discipline
  • 4-5 years of related experience in Tax Accounting
  • Previous experience in Mexican taxes, taxes audit
  • Knowledge of equipment financing (in particular transportation equipment)
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Good time-management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategical thinking
  • Fluent English
