About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Manufacturing. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our manufacturing operations, focusing on employee relations, labor strategy development, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Labor Strategy Development and Implementation Support: Assist in the development and implementation of a strong labor strategy, evaluating and managing site/function employee relations issues and concerns.
  • Thorough Investigations and Risk Assessment: Conduct timely, thorough, and effective investigations relating to company policy or employment law, collective bargaining agreements, and other regulations.
  • Collaboration with Legal Counsel: Collaborate with Legal counsel as needed regarding separations, severance/redundancy, and coach people managers on performance management, appropriate documentation, and communicating effectively to drive improvement and/or mitigate risk.
  • Labor Culture Development: Develop and maintain a labor culture that promotes productivity in the plant, tracking monthly HR metrics, and ensuring compliance with the progressive discipline program.
  • Collective Bargaining Agreement Compliance: Compliance and follow-up to the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Labor Rules, responsible for following STPS Federal Inspections, demands, etc., and compliance with promotions and vacancies processes.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in similar positions as an Employee Relations Lead.
  • Experience in negotiations with Union Committee (Salary & CCT).
  • Strong knowledge in Labor Law & Union Committee management.
  • English fluency.
