Job Title: Infrastructure Specialist: AWS Platform

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a key role in the software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, test, and support cloud-based infrastructure solutions.

You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, ensuring the applications delivered are high performing, highly available, responsive, and maintainable.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  1. Analytical Problem-Solving and Solution Enhancement: Analyze, validate, and propose improvements to existing failures, with the support of the architect and technical leader.
  2. Comprehensive Engagement Across Process Phases: Involvement in every step of the process, from design, development, testing, release changes, and troubleshooting where necessary, providing great customer service.
  3. Strategic Stakeholder Engagement and Innovative Coding Solutions: Drive key discussions with your stakeholders and analyze the current landscape for opportunities to operate and code creative solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Proficient English
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist role, preferably at a large-scale technology company
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as Python and a strongly typed language like Java or.NET
  • Proficient in system administration and troubleshooting of Linux-based and Windows systems
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience with Github Actions or Gitlab automation technologies
  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as AWS ECS and/or EKS
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

Optional:

  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk
