Job Summary:
Flowserve Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apprentice Flow Control Specialist. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our materials inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify weights and country of origin of materials leaving for export in coordination with Traffic.
- Make entries or exits in the system of the materials that enter the inventory.
- Maintain customer service and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Preserve and protect inventory stock by implementing effective controls and procedures.
- Provide accurate data for inventory verification and enter information into SAP.
- Participate in environmental activities and maintain a sense of responsibility to follow guidelines and standards.
- Attend training sessions on Ethics, Pure Safety, and Code of Conduct.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities and identify opportunities for process enhancements.
- Separate and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes in a responsible manner.
- Report and prevent unsafe acts and conditions.
Requirements:
- Industrial Engineering or related field degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
