Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Finance Professional to join our team at Medline Industries. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for analyzing financial results, trends, and metrics on a monthly basis. This includes communicating key drivers in regards to the full financial profit and loss statement to Division Presidents.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Review expenses and operating statements, including COGS, product and overhead costs.
- Post journal entries and review internal financial statements for errors.
- Prepare management reports for divisions, published one week prior to the weekly Monday night management meeting.
- Provide specialized expertise through special projects and financial reviews.
- Conduct ROI analysis, scenario modeling, and decision support for future business planning decisions and investments.
- Lead quarterly/monthly financial business reviews with Divisions and other senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- At least 2 years of basic Finance experience.
- Intermediate skill level in ERP financial systems.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel.
