**Job Summary:**

As a Medical Director for Workplace Health at American Standard, you will be responsible for monitoring the health of employees and contributing to improvements in operations to achieve positive impacts on the health of our employees. This role requires a strong understanding of federal labor law and the ability to develop and implement health programs that promote a safe and healthy work environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct medical exams for all employees to ensure their health and well-being
  • Comply with all EHS regulations applicable to medical services and the plant
  • Develop and implement health programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment
  • Lead critical health programs, including ergonomic, heat, noise, and dust programs
  • Attend government inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Manage nurses and develop health programs across the plant
  • Create plans and follow up with employees who have chronic illnesses
  • Manage KPIs and develop programs to migrate high-risk areas in the plant

**Requirements:**

  • Education: Physician specialist in occupational health
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in ergonomic, government regulation on health, occupational health, or hygiene studies
  • Ergonomic certification
