Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist, your key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the analysis of business performance versus plan and proposing improvement actions.
  • Benchmarking key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar businesses within ABB.
  • Working with the management team to understand and analyze drivers of financial performance and identifying market trends.
  • Creating presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions.
  • Identifying and researching variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
These tasks require strong analytical skills, effective communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications for the Role
To succeed in this position, you should have:
  • An Accountant background.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
  • +4 years of experience in providing FP&A finance support to accounting teams related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge in identifying and understanding business challenges, proposing, and creating solutions.
  • Experience with advanced Excel.
This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
