At Mondelez International, we're committed to making snacking a more enjoyable experience for our consumers. As a Senior Supply Chain Planner, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production schedules, inventory levels, and supply chain processes.
We're looking for an experienced planner who can drive continuous improvement across the planning and vendor scheduling functions. You'll work closely with MFG leadership, commercial teams, external manufacturers, and international supply chain partners to manage inventory and production planning.
About the Role:
- Create quality production plans based on demand forecasts, taking into account service level targets, inventory costs, and customer needs.
- Drive rescheduling and recovery of missed deadlines with department managers, ensuring timely communication and capacity planning.
- Achieve stock build targets while minimizing labor variances.
- Directly participate in production scheduling to ensure optimal stockholdings and efficient use of resources.
- Regularly maintain data accuracy to support Prism's recommendation engine.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure production compliance with schedules and standards.
- Proactively report and resolve issues that may impact business operations or customer service levels.
- Build capability mastery in SAP planning systems and manage inventory to key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) preparation and metric dashboard development.
- Adhere to manufacturing and regulatory compliance standards and regulations.
- Leverage IL6S standard work processes and own pillar systems or processes to drive value and loss elimination.
- Contribute to projects that simplify the planning process, reduce errors, and improve efficiency.
Your Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in production and material planning, demand planning, inventory management, line operations, and/or forecasting.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with ERP systems like SAP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, and strong collaboration and relationship management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, such as economics or administration.
