Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IQC Inspector to join our team at our Mexicali Plant. As an IQC Inspector, you will be responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials received at our facility, ensuring that they meet the required specifications for our products and manufacturing processes.

You will be working closely with our quality team to ensure that all incoming materials meet our high standards, and that any issues or defects are promptly identified and addressed. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with the quality team to identify and address any issues or defects
  • Participate in safety training and follow GMPs to ensure a safe working environment
  • Utilize computer-based software to assist with inspection activities and record results
  • Interpret basic mechanical drawings to understand dimensional inspection characteristics
Requirements
  • High school diploma or technical studies
  • Fluent Spanish and 50% English proficiency
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and basic SAP knowledge
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in quality areas and 2 years of experience as a quality inspector or related position
  • Use of basic measuring tools/equipment and mechanical drawing interpretation
