Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Jr. Analyst is a pivotal role within Informa Markets Mexico, responsible for managing the daily accounts payable process and activities with meticulous attention to detail.

This position requires a strong knowledge of financial systems and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of tasks within set time limits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support on Debit Balance Dispute Resolution
  • Resolution of Invoice Queries
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service to Internal and External Customers
  • General Administration Duties
  • Understand Cost Centres and Accounts
  • Assist in Reconciliation of Accounts Payable Ledger
  • Process Accounts and Incoming Payments
  • Perform Day-to-Day Financial Transactions
  • Support on I-Expenses and Credit Card Control

Invoice Processing:

  • Review and Process Vendor Invoices for Accuracy and Compliance
  • Code Invoices to Appropriate Accounts and Cost Centers
  • Validate Supplier Invoices Against Purchase Orders and Delivery Receipts

Purchase Order Matching:

  • Maintenance and Matching of Invoices with Purchase Orders
  • Investigate and Resolve Discrepancies between Invoices and Purchase Orders
  • Manage Exceptions on PO Orders

Payment Processing:

  • Uploading and Processing of Invoices/Payment Request Forms
  • Ensure Payment Runs are Signed Off by Authorized Signatories
  • Upload Payments through Various Methods

Vendor Management:

  • Maintain Positive Relationships with Vendors
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Other Departments

Expense Report Processing:

  • Review and Process Employee Expense Reports
  • Reconcile Expense Reports with Supporting Documentation

Month-End Close:

  • Contribute to Month-End Close Process
  • Assist in Preparation of Accruals for Outstanding Invoices

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze Accounts Payable Data
  • Prepare and Present Regular Reports on Key Metrics

Compliance:

  • Ensure Compliance with Internal Policies and Accounting Standards
  • Assist with Audits

Process Improvement:

  • Identify Opportunities for Process Improvement
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Requirements:
