We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Specialist to join our team at Siemens Gas and Power GmbH & Co. KG. As a Commissioning Specialist, you will be responsible for the commissioning of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for power plants.
Key Responsibilities- Commissioning of DCS components and systems for gas turbines, steam turbines, steam generators, and balance of plant equipment.
- Performing initial or repeat tests on I&C protection and control systems, as well as system optimization and troubleshooting.
- Commissioning of control systems with associated HMI.
- Degree in Automation or Electronics, Robotics Engineering (BSc or MSc) preferably with a focus on power engineering, or professional experience gained through several years of work in a similar field.
- 3- to 5-year experience in I&C commissioning and start-up of DCS for power plants.
- Solid knowledge of instrumentation, I/O wiring, logic checks, PID controller tuning is a must.
- Knowledge of T3000 or other Siemens control systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications.
- 100% travel availability.
- Flexibility and willingness to participate in international assignments (typical duration 2 to 12 months).
- Self-sufficient, independent, quality-oriented personality. Team player mindset, excellent adaptability. Ability to lead, leadership skills.
- Decisiveness and openness to other cultures.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must.
