About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to join our LATAM Benefits team. This role will be based in Mexico and will be responsible for managing employee benefits programs for select countries in LATAM.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Benefit Management and Design: Develop and implement benefit program proposals for countries in LATAM, ensuring alignment with Amazon's Global Benefits Strategy.
  2. Implementation: Oversee the implementation of approved benefit programs, including vendor selection, project planning, and process development.
  3. Governance: Ensure benefit programs align with Amazon's benefit philosophy and meet local regulatory requirements.
  4. Expansion Program Management: Act as subject matter expert for expansion activities in LATAM, including setup of new entities, benefits, and global programs.
  5. Consulting: Provide strategic guidance to International Compensation and Benefits team, local HR, payroll, and vendors to ensure high-quality delivery of benefit programs.
  6. Vendor Management: Recommend vendor performance standards, monitor performance, and ensure resolutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 8+ years of experience in global benefits development, administration, and governance.
  • Experience with large-scale global employee benefit plans and associated complexities.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
