About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standard of equipment reliability and performance in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage planned and executed maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase equipment effectiveness, reduce expenses, and improve root cause analysis for major breakdowns.
  • Analyze and generate plans to comply with key performance indicators (KPIs) for downtime, preventive maintenance attainment, mean time to repair (MTTR), and mean time between failure (MTBF).
  • Coordinate projects related to modifications, service installation, equipment, and machinery to ensure seamless execution and minimal disruption to production.
  • Manage budgets and purchases of spare parts and required tools to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Design and create new software programs and systems to improve manufacturing processes and equipment performance.
  • Test and deploy programs and applications to ensure seamless integration and minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects and ensure knowledge sharing among team members.
  • Support the creation of technical guidelines, standards, and templates to ensure consistency and best practices across the organization.
  • Work with source control tools (DevOps, GitHub) to ensure seamless collaboration and version control.
  • Connect and build pipelines between various data sources to ensure real-time data integration and analysis.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of related experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with multiple computer programming languages (Java, Python, C#).
  • Bachelor's degree in controls, automation, mechatronics, computer science, or a related engineering field.
  • Microsoft Office literate.
  • Knowledge of Project management (Agile and Scrum development methodologies).
  • English intermediate level as a minimum.
  • Experience with databases (including SQL server, Oracle) and different types of data storages.
  • Experience with Industry 4.0 Projects (such as IIoT, Big Data, AI & Machine Learning, Cloud computing, vision systems, Augmented Reality, Digital Twins, Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics, Labeling and Packaging).
  • Good understanding of industrial network technologies, cyber security, and remote connections.
  • Experience with developing and deploying software for on-premises and cloud architectures (AWS).
  • Experience working with APIs and API management platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience with Labview, Ignition, Kepware, OPC Server or similar solutions.
  • Knowledge of industrial IoT sensor connectivity, data acquisition, and data historian software.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in dealing with all levels of organization.
  • Understanding of Lean Principles and/or Six Sigma application and usage.
  • Good interactive skills for facilitating team solutions.
