About the Project

We're a leading European Software Services company operating internationally, and we're looking for a talented Senior Cloud Software Engineer to join our team. As a Senior member of our team, you will influence and contribute to the creation and maintenance of scalable software and associated tooling while collaborating with a team of hardware and software engineers to implement and support the holistic solution.

Job Requirements

  • More than 5 years' experience in a similar role;
  • Experience designing and deploying secure RESTful APIs, using Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, and other DevOps tools;
  • Familiarity with C#, Java, Kotlin, and other programming languages;
  • Experience with Google AppEngine, CloudRun, Pubsub, CloudFunctions, BigQuery, Firebase, Firestore, Dataflow Endpoints;
  • Previous experience with unit and integration testing with Jest, Mocha, Moq, and Xunit;
  • Experience with Docker;
  • Strong organizational skills and experience with Agile SCRUM methodologies;
  • Excellent communication skills in English are desired.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end functionalities, including frontend, APIs, and microservices;
  • Rapidly prototype new features, to get input from users;
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles such as algorithms and data structures;
  • Use test-driven development to create well-written software with an emphasis on automated functional and unit testing;
  • Cooperate with clients, business users, and other team members;
  • The capacity to pick up new technologies quickly and solve issues without much technical guidance;
  • Capacity to evaluate legacy code and design cutting-edge cloud-based solutions.
