As an Electrical Design Engineer at Schneider Electric, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and validating the design and application of distribution boards, electrical protection, and other related systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing product and solutions application support and training to customers
- Certifying technical accuracy of system/process designs
- Offering technical support to sales engineers and contributing to business development
- Leading specification, design, analysis, and development of engineering projects
- Demonstrating products or solutions
- Troubleshooting problems on installed systems and leading start-ups of new systems on customer sites
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in engineering specialties to guide future development efforts
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical-Electrical or Related Engineering
- Advanced English language skills for effective technical communication
- Experience designing metal mechanical or electrical components (panelboards, breaker panels, or electric panels are a plus)
- Familiarity with mechanical or electrical design software
- Able to read and understand electrical diagrams
- Prior knowledge of statistical process control and root cause determination is a plus
