Job Description:

An Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that control user access to an organization's digital resources. They ensure that the right individuals have appropriate access to the right resources at the right times for the right reasons.

This involves managing user identities, access privileges, and security policies across various platforms and applications, while also ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of IAM principles, technologies, and best practices
  • Experience with IAM tools and platforms (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, ForgeRock)
  • Knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
  • Familiarity with directory services (Active Directory, LDAP)
  • Experience in implementing and managing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions
  • Understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control models
  • Knowledge of privileged access management (PAM) concepts and tools
  • Experience with identity governance and administration (IGA) processes
  • Familiarity with cloud IAM services (AWS IAM, Azure AD, Google Cloud IAM)
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements related to access control (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR)

Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
